Patterson Elementary Refreshes Campus Facilities for a Bright Year Ahead

Creating a learning environment where every student can thrive takes our entire community of teachers, administrators, staff, families, and students. At Patterson Elementary, we expect our students to learn by doing, fostering critical thinking, perseverance, and a growth mindset to set them up for a brighter future.

During school hours, our Panther Family works to cultivate positive relationships with all students, supporting the whole child and inviting families to be an active part of the learning process. Meanwhile, over summer break, our district Operations team worked on updates throughout our campus to maintain a safe, accessible, and engaging environment for everyone to succeed.

During the break, Operations staff focused on three key campus projects:

• ADA Walkway and Parking Lot Improvements: Campus pathways and the parking lot were repaved and upgraded to improve ADA accessibility, smooth out uneven surfaces, and ensure safe, seamless movement for students, staff, and visitors across campus.
• Modified Painting: Focused painting updates were completed across key campus spaces to refresh worn surfaces, brighten learning environments, and give our students a clean, welcoming school to enter each morning.

"When facilities are well cared for, students notice. It lets them know we care about their environment, and that translates directly into pride in their school."
