Kinder "Up" - Enroll Now

Future Panthers…. We saved you a seat!
Patterson’s IB kindergarten curriculum introduces students to an engaging, hands-on approach to learning where curiosity and exploration are emphasized. Students explore large concepts, learn to think critically, ask questions, and make connections to the world around them.
Kindergarten studies family celebrations and traditions as part of their curriculum and our special areas connect to this unit in various ways. For example, our kindergarteners just studied the harvest that happens around Thanksgiving. They planted lettuce, carrots, and other seeds in the garden earlier this year. They then harvested these crops and had a Thanksgiving harvest with the vegetables they grew in the school garden.
Our special areas expand the concept of celebrations/traditions further. For example, the kindergarteners learned about the celebration of Dia De Los Muertos during their Spanish inquiry time. In art they connect to the concept of celebrations by making pinatas. In music, they learn songs that are sung at celebrations around the world. In P.E. they learn games that are played during celebrations here in the United States as well as globally.
