Join the Patterson Running Club!

Calling all students from Kindergarten through 6th grade: come run with us! Registration is now open: Run Club Registration

Practices start October 23rd and go until February 18th. Our Running Club meets every Thursday from 3-3:30PM at Patterson, and it's all about fun, fitness, and friendship! We'll run, play games, build teamwork, and practice good sportsmanship- all while staying active and having a blast.

Our runners will have the opportunity to compete against other schools once a month at a BIG meet (location TBD).

No experience needed- just bring your energy and a positive attitude. Let's get moving!

Patterson Performers
Maryann Stanley

Patterson Performers - 4th - 6th grade risk takers welcome!  During the first half of the school year, choir students come and enjoy singing a variety of music from many cultures and genres.  They perform several times between October and December. This includes combining with other elementaries to make an enormous choir that performs with the Jr.High and High-School choirs at Gilbert High.  We also go on a field trip to a care center to connect with our community.

Battle of the Books!
Christy Hubele

The Battle of the Books Program is a voluntary reading competition designed to promote the love and appreciation of reading to elementary school fifth and sixth-grade students.  Battle titles are selected based on recommendations from school and public librarians. The aim of this program is to encourage students to read a variety of books and remember information about the plots, characters, and settings of the books.  The students have been meeting before school in the library discussing the books for the upcoming battle. We are very proud of their enthusiasm and perseverance.

Champs

Champs (Community Helping to Achieve Maximum Potential)

Students will collaborate with the Tiger Town Club at Gilbert High School on a variety of activities two times during the school year. The purpose of the activities is to establish and grow positive peer relationships and allow students to exchange ideas that will help all of the students be successful academically and socially. We hope that our students will learn from the high school students and that they will learn from us.
